    In Sungai Besar, the Magistrate’s Court made a ruling on Thursday to transfer a murder case involving a pregnant woman to the High Court. The decision came after Deputy Public Prosecutor Nurul Sofea Jaysal requested for the case against 21-year-old Muhammad Fakrul Aiman Sajali to be moved to the Klang High Court. Represented by lawyer Muhammad Nor Tamrin, Muhammad Fakrul Aiman, a former college student, now faces proceedings in the higher court.

    The charge against Muhammad Fakrul Aiman dates back to June 1 last year when he was accused of killing 21-year-old Nur Anisah Abdul Wahab on Jalan Sungai Limau in Sungai Besar. The incident allegedly took place between 8.30 PM on May 22 and 8 AM on May 23, 2023. The charge falls under Section 302 of the Penal Code, which carries a death penalty upon conviction, as reported by Bernama.
