According to investigations, a 36-year-old man driving a lorry from Mersing to Kota Tinggi suddenly lost control of his vehicle and veered into the opposite lane. Consequently, the lorry crashed into the victim’s car and another vehicle behind it. Tragically, the victim sustained a severe head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene. The lorry driver, on the other hand, suffered an arm injury and is currently receiving medical treatment at Mersing Hospital. The case is now under investigation in accordance with Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act of 1987.
