In Petaling Jaya, a man suspected of using a dumbbell to violently kill his wife has been granted a seven-day remand by the Shah Alam Magistrate’s Court on Friday (Dec 15).

Assistant Registrar Saidatul Akmar Suberi approved the police’s request to detain the jobless suspect for seven days, starting from Saturday until Friday (Dec 22).
The 38-year-old suspect, who was visibly in restraints, was brought into the court complex by police officers and court personnel.
