    Manhunt on for armed robbers behind gold heist in Putrajaya

    Authorities in Putrajaya, Malaysia are on the lookout for four armed robbers who targeted a gold shop in KIP Mall supermarket located in Kota Warisan, Sepang.

    The robbery took place at 8.14pm on February 6, according to Sepang district police chief ACP Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof.

    Wan Kamarul Azran stated that the race and nationality of the suspects is currently unknown, and they arrived in a car parked at the back of the building.

    “Three of the suspects entered the supermarket while the fourth waited in the car. They entered the shop at 8.14pm and left at 8.16pm in the waiting car,” Wan Kamarul Azran said.

    No gunshots were fired during the robbery, and the stolen items included necklaces and bracelets of various sizes and weights,” he said in a statement on February 7.

    He also urged anyone with information on the incident to get in touch with the nearest police station or investigating officer ASP Boby Tamat at 013-555 7858. – Bernama
