KUALA LUMPUR: MYAirline’s operations have been suspended as of Thursday (Oct 12), leading the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom) to establish hotlines and other channels to assist affected consumers.
Mavcom is urging individuals who have made bookings with MYAirline to reach out to the airline’s dedicated complaints channel for any inquiries or help regarding their booking at [email protected].
Furthermore, affected consumers can also contact Mavcom’s consumer hotline at 1-800-18-6966 (within Malaysia) or send an email to [email protected].

An alternative option for consumers is to fill in the complaints web form found at https://flysmart.my/make-a-complaint.
Alternatively, they may also provide feedback through the FlySmart mobile application, downloadable from the Google Play Store and Apple App store.
“The Commission (maintains) that MYAirline is responsible for refunding consumers who have purchased tickets but are now unable to travel,” stated Mavcom in an official statement.
“MYAirline has also been instructed to cease all sales and bookings of flights from all platforms until further notice,” they added.
Mavcom has also communicated with MYAirline and is conducting an investigation into the airline based on internal reviews and complaints regarding unpaid statutory payments to employees, among other issues.
“Mavcom will provide updates in due course,” they further mentioned.
