The president of MCA, Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong, stated that the party will overcome any challenges and obstacles as long as it remains united. He made this remark in a Facebook post following an interaction session with division leaders in Labis, Johor. During the meeting, Dr Wee discussed the latest political developments and current affairs.
In addition, he explained the party’s decision to abstain from participating in the recent state elections and discussed the party’s aspirations and future preparations. Despite the obstacles ahead, Dr Wee expressed confidence that they can overcome them if they stay united.
He expressed gratitude to the Labis division members for their unwavering support and thanked Labis Division Chairman Datuk Chua Tee Yong for organizing the event. Tan Chong, the Deputy Chairman of Labis Division and Bekok state assemblyman, as well as Johor MCA Secretary Datuk Ng Keng Heng, were also present at the session.
