After disappearing from his house on Saturday (Dec 9), a 24-year-old autistic man was discovered safe 35km away from his village house in the Papar district.

Rozlan Osman, the chief of the Papar Fire and Rescue Services station, stated that Muhd Nuh Ibrahim Mohd Eddie Bahrin was reunited with his family 12 hours after vanishing at around 7am on Saturday (Dec 9).

“He was unharmed and safe when he was found on Saturday night,” he said. He also mentioned that Muhd Nuh’s elder brother came to the fire station to inform them that the missing man had been located.

Rozlan Osman revealed that a taxi driver found Muhd Nuh wandering in a commercial area in Kg Benoni, approximately 35km from his house in Kampung Sumbiling.

The search operations were called off by firemen at 9:17pm. In the early hours of Saturday morning, Muhd Nuh’s father discovered that he was missing. The family, along with their neighbors, initially carried out a search for Muhd Nuh.

After struggling to find Muhd Nuh within the village area, they contacted firemen at 5:15pm (Saturday).
