Rescuers have found a 33-year-old man who was missing for three days in Sipitang. Lahanirsin Lahamino was discovered safe at Kampung Sapok around 4.20pm, approximately six kilometers away from the control post at Kampung Lubok Darat where he initially disappeared.

The Fire and Rescue Department spokesman stated, “The victim has been taken to the hospital for further medical attention, and the operation concluded at 4.55pm.”

Prior to this, the Department commenced a joint search operation, with assistance from the police, Civil Defence Force, K9 unit, and local villagers, after receiving a report of the missing person on Wednesday.

The report indicated that the victim had been missing for several days, failing to return home after entering the nearby forest of Kampung Lubok Darat to gather fruits.
