Reports have emerged of a Molotov cocktail being thrown at a KK Super Mart outlet in Bidor, Tapah, in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The incident took place around 5am and the petrol bomb struck the five-foot walkway directly in front of the shop.
Tapah OCPD Supt Mohd Naim Asnawi has verified the incident and informed that investigations are currently underway.
In a separate development on the same day, Datuk Seri Dr Chai Kee Kan and Datin Seri Loh Siew Mui, founders of KK Supermart & Superstore Sdn Bhd, pleaded not guilty in the Shah Alam Sessions Court to two charges related to offending the religious sentiments of others due to the sale of socks featuring the word “Allah” at their premises weeks before.
It is likely that more details regarding this incident will emerge soon.
