Five additional individuals have been apprehended in connection with the fatal shooting of a man in Kapar, as stated by North Klang OCPD Asst Comm S. Vijaya Rao. The suspects, ranging in age from 30 to 40, were taken into custody in various locations around Kapar between 11pm on Friday and 5am yesterday. As per ACP Vijaya Rao, “They have been detained until Tuesday, increasing the total number of suspects to six.” He added that the motive behind the murder remains under investigation.
A man in his 20s was arrested on Friday in relation to the fatal shooting. On Aug 30, a 36-year-old man, who had previous records of criminal and drug offenses, was discovered dead with gunshot wounds along Jalan Hamzah Alang 22/KU9. Witnesses informed the police of a traffic accident along with what seemed to be gunshots.
Social media was filled with videos of the victim lying on the ground, with a crashed motorcycle nearby.
