A fatal accident occurred in Iskandar Puteri when a 35-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle and crashed into a road divider at Jalan Sungai Danga. The incident took place on Saturday morning as the victim was traveling towards Nusa Bestari. Acting OCPD Supt Ibrahim Mat Som stated that the man was flung into the river upon impact, resulting in fatal injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
In a separate incident in Iskandar Puteri, a 35-year-old man was killed after colliding with the back of a car on Jalan Nusa Perintis. The accident occurred on Friday afternoon as the victim was en route from Kota Iskandar to Nusantara. The impact of the collision caused the man to be flung and hit two other cars at a traffic light intersection. He sustained a serious head injury and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both cases are currently under investigation under Section 41(1) of the Road and Transport Act of 1987, as authorities work to determine the circumstances that led to these tragic accidents.
