Muda chief Syed Saddiq Syed Abdul Rahman emphasized that the asset declarations were not a gimmick. He stated that this process was important in ensuring accountability and allowing for investigations if a person acquires “extraordinary” assets after entering politics.

Syed Saddiq also called on leaders of the unity pact to declare their assets. He reminded the Pakatan Harapan-Barisan Nasional government of their commitment to declare assets, especially for Cabinet members who have yet to do so even after being in power for eight months.

Furthermore, Muda candidates have also declared their assets during the 15th General Election. The asset declarations and signed statutory declarations have been uploaded to the party’s website.
