Police will summon Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on September 12th for questioning, according to Bukit Aman.

Datuk Seri Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay, Deputy Inspector-General of Police, stated that two investigation papers have been opened against Perikatan Nasional chairman, Muhyiddin Yassin. The papers are in relation to his “political fatwa” and his claim that the Malays would lose their power.

Ayob Khan added that the investigation paper regarding PAS president Tan Sri Abdul Hadi Awang’s statement disputing the power of the Pardons Board has been referred to the Attorney General Chambers for further action.

Ayob Khan made these comments after inspecting the voting process for the Pulai parliamentary by-election at Maktab Sultan Abu Bakar on September 9th.

He also stated that the police will continue to monitor politicians and other irresponsible individuals who discuss the 3Rs (religion, royalty, and race).

Ayob Khan mentioned that there are still individuals who make statements regarding the 3Rs outside of the election period for their own interests.

“The authorities, including the police, have repeatedly warned and advised, but there are still those who take advantage of the situation for their political gains.

“So, this issue will persist on social media platforms and in statements. However, the police will always be vigilant and investigate if any wrongdoing is found,” he stated.
