The Kukup International Ferry Terminal (TFAK) near Pontian, Johor, has introduced a new route to the Selat Panjang Ferry Terminal in Riau, Indonesia.
Johor Public Transport Corporation chief executive officer Abdul Malik Ismail announced that the service includes a trip from Riau at 9.30am West Indonesia time and a return trip from TFAK at 3pm Malaysian time.
“The return trip tickets are available at RM350 for adults and RM200 for children, while one-way trips are priced at RM200 for adults and RM150 for children.
The ferry has a capacity for 238 passengers and the journey duration is three hours,” he stated, as reported by Bernama.
