Nine-vehicle pile-up near Shah Alam leaves one injured

SHAH ALAM: A nine-vehicle collision along the New Klang Valley Expressway (NKVE) on Tuesday (Oct 3) resulted in one injury.

In a statement on Tuesday, Shah Alam Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said that the accident took place on KM5.4 of the expressway.

“Preliminary investigations revealed that a car in the right lane crashed into the rear of another vehicle, causing that car to collide with multiple vehicles ahead of it.

“A total of nine vehicles were involved,” he mentioned, further informing that one person suffered minor injuries.
