KUALA LUMPUR: A fire broke out in Taman Beringin, Jinjang, early Friday morning, destroying nine vehicles at a workshop. The Kuala Lumpur Fire and Rescue Department received an emergency call at 5.20am and immediately deployed 25 firefighters, along with three machines and a tanker, to the location. Operations commander Mohamad Hasbullah Naimi Mahmood stated that the fire consumed an area of 1,800 square feet, including four cars, a lorry, and four motorcycles.
The fire was successfully brought under control in 29 minutes, and thankfully, no victims were involved in the incident. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation,” Mohamad Hasbullah Naimi Mahmood said in a statement released on Friday. – Bernama
