    Nine workers feared dead after building collapse in Penang

    It is believed that nine workers may have lost their lives after a structure being constructed collapsed along the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway in Bayan Lepas, George Town. The Fire and Rescue Department reported that the incident near the Malaysian Fisheries Development Board (LKIM) occurred at approximately 9:58pm.

    According to the initial information received, the collapsed building was still under construction when rescuers arrived at the site. The statement released by the department mentioned that nine individuals were trapped and that rescue efforts were currently underway. However, the condition of the victims remains uncertain.
