Despite being from a political family, singer NJWA has stated that she has no interest in pursuing a career in politics, according to Harian Metro. NJWA, whose real name is Najwa, has always been passionate about music and has no desire to enter the political scene like other artists. She expressed her dedication to the arts, stating that her family understands and supports her decision. They have been supportive of her music since the beginning, and she has never faced any pressure to pursue politics. NJWA, the daughter of former prime minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, made this statement at the premiere of the film Rahsia on Tuesday.

Recently, NJWA, who is known for her song Alunan Lara, announced her plans to make a comeback and actively pursue her music career. She explained that she took a break from performing to focus on raising her family after giving birth two years ago. Now, with the release of the film Rahsia, she hopes that more opportunities will come her way and plans to balance her singing career with taking care of her two-year-old daughter, Kaleela.

NJWA married Idris Koh Keng Hui on March 26, 2015.
