Nomination opens for Pelangai by-election

Nomination for the Pelangai state by-election began at 9am on Saturday (Sept 23) at Dewan Orang Ramai Felda Kemasul. The nomination process is set to last for one hour, and the returning officer, Datuk Mohammad Shahid Ismail, will announce the candidates for the by-election after it concludes. The by-election is being held due to the unfortunate passing of assemblyman Datuk Seri Johari Harun, aged 53, who tragically lost his life in a plane crash in Shah Alam, Selangor on August 17.
