Pulai Umno division chief, Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed, has denied the claim that they do not support Pakatan Harapan candidate Suhaizan Kaiat. The denial comes in response to viral photos of banners suggesting that branches in the Pulai division were against Suhaizan’s nomination. Nur Jazlan condemned this as a dirty tactic aimed at confusing voters and undermining the unity government candidate in the Pulai parliamentary seat by-election. He assured Pakatan and Suhaizan of their support.
As a Umno supreme council member and division chief, Nur Jazlan stated that he would be aware if there was discontent from the grassroots. He called on any Pulai Umno members who may be dissatisfied to come forward instead of resorting to putting up banners and sharing pictures on social media, as it only reveals their malicious intentions.
