More than 1,000 summonses have been given to drivers for various traffic violations during the Ops Samseng Jalanan in Iskandar Puteri.
In addition, two individuals, aged 18 and 20, have been taken into custody for engaging in dangerous driving during the operation.
The operation, which took place on November 4 and 5, was conducted along the Ismail Sultan Highway, according to Deputy OCPD Supt Ibrahim Mat Som.
“Furthermore, 339 motorcycles and 21 cars have been confiscated under Section 64 of the Road Transport Act 1987,” he stated in a press release.
He added that the police will continue their efforts to ensure the safety of the roads for everyone.
