Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim announced that an amount exceeding RM2 billion will soon be made available to support bumiputra entrepreneurship in Malaysia.
The Prime Minister highlighted that these funds will encompass a micro-credit scheme aimed at assisting small bumiputra vendors, as well as funds allocated through government-linked companies to bolster the growth of bumiputra enterprises.
Furthermore, a substantial portion of the funds will be derived from an endowment established by successful bumiputra businessmen and professionals, reflecting the government’s commitment to enhancing the socio-economic standing of the bumiputra community.
