A traffic jam of 5km has been caused by an overturned tanker near KM319 northbound of the North South Expressway close to Tapah, as per a post on X (formerly Twitter) by PLUS Trafik. The emergency and left lanes have been blocked due to an accident involving a trailer on Tuesday (Feb 6) at approximately 7.25am.
According to Tapah OCPD Superintendent Mohd Naim Asnawi, drivers heading north are advised to exit at the Tapah toll interchange and use the federal route to go towards Kampar, then rejoin the expressway at the Gopeng toll interchange. Southbound traffic remains unaffected and can continue as usual.
