KLANG: The late Kuala Kubu Baru assemblyman, Lee Kee Hiong, had been battling cancer for several years before her recent passing, which came as a shock to many, especially her Pakatan Harapan colleagues. Selangor Mentri Besar Amirudin Shari expressed his sadness over her death, highlighting her dedicated service to the constituency prior to her election.
Amirudin emphasized that Lee’s demise is a significant loss, particularly for the people of Kuala Kubu Baru whom she served diligently. He extended his condolences to Lee’s family and the DAP party for the loss of an experienced member. Kepong MP Lim Lip Eng also mourned the loss, acknowledging Lee’s important role as a woman in politics and society.
