PAKATAN Harapan’s Rawang Candidate, Chua Wei Kiat, Raises Concerns Over Intentional Car Tire Deflation
Chua Wei Kiat, the candidate representing PAKATAN Harapan in Rawang, recently made a disheartening discovery when he found his car tire deflated. Expressing his disappointment, he took to social media to share a picture of the deflated tire. Initially suspecting a simple nail puncture, he took the car to a workshop for inspection, only to find no evidence of any punctures caused by nails or other sharp objects. This leads Chua to firmly believe that his car tire was deliberately deflated by someone, indicating a potential act of sabotage.
Despite facing such adversity, Chua Wei Kiat remains steadfast and undeterred in his campaign efforts. Notably, this is not the first time he has encountered challenges during election campaigns. In the 15th General Election (GE15) campaign, his car was targeted with stone-throwing, resulting in minor damage. However, the determined candidate continues to press forward, focused on his mission to serve the people of Rawang.
Chua Wei Kiat’s political career has seen notable success in the past. During the 2018 elections, he emerged victorious in the Rawang constituency, securing an impressive majority of 23,860 votes. This background of success and strong support from the community adds to the significance of the recent alleged act of sabotage against his campaign vehicle.
