SHAH ALAM: The ulama council committee members of the Islamic party PAS have all been re-elected uncontested for the 2023-2025 term, as announced by the chairman of the PAS muktamar election committee, Datuk Dr Abdul Halim Tamuri, during the council’s 62nd muktamar (general assembly) held in Shah Alam on Thursday, October 19.
The election results revealed that Pokok Sena MP Datuk Ahmad Yahya will retain his position as council chief, with Jasin MP Zulkifli Ismail and Khirul Muntanazar Ismail keeping their roles as deputy and vice-chief, respectively.
The following individuals have been listed as committee members for the 2023-2025 term: Dr Aminurrasyid Yatiban, Ana Masturah Ismail, Hishamudin Abdul Karim, Ibrahim Tahir, Ibrahim Zakaria, Massaudi Din, Mohd Asri Mat Daud, Muhammad Ismi Taib, Nafiri Touzi, Nushi Mahfodz, Syarbini Hussain, and Zulkarnain Hassan. The list of committee members was released by Bernama.
