The lack of daily necessities in Pasir Gudang has led to public outcry, prompting calls for immediate intervention from the government. Pasir Gudang MP Hassan Karim has urged the Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Ministry to provide aid through the Jualan Rahmah initiative or by sending sufficient supplies to the affected people. The current situation is causing anger among the residents, who are facing shortages of rice, cooking oil, sugar, and eggs. Hassan expressed hope that the ministry will assist the people in Pasir Gudang, emphasizing that they are in urgent need of government aid. He noted that this is an unprecedented case where people are being cut off from the supply of basic necessities.

Hassan shared that one of the areas severely affected by the shortage is Taman Scientex, where disagreements between the public and shop owners have arisen. The lack of government intervention and support has fueled the frustration and anger of the residents.

It is crucial for the government to address this issue promptly and provide the necessary assistance to the affected people in Pasir Gudang. The residents are undergoing immense hardships due to the scarcity of essential items.
