Patriotic spirit flying high in Bandar Sri Sendayan

Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd (MCHB), a developer, began celebrating National Day by distributing 1,000 Malaysian flags in Bandar Sri Sendayan, near Seremban, Negri Sembilan. These mini Jalur Gemilang flags were given to 50 community groups, including village heads, residents’ associations, schools, places of worship, and local authorities at d’Tempat Country Club.

Datuk Mohamad Haslah Mohamad Amin, the chairman of MCHB, expressed the hope to witness more national flags being proudly displayed in houses and other areas within the region.

During a simple ceremony, the participants stood in attention as the flag was raised and the national anthem played. To further foster the spirit of Merdeka, the Jalur Gemilang and Malaysia Madani songs were played, followed by the reading of the Rukunegara.

Mohamad Haslah expressed his desire to organize this patriotic event every year, as it serves as an opportunity to gather the people and promote harmony. He emphasized that it is their responsibility to raise awareness about the importance of Merdeka.

Also present at the event were the founder and group executive deputy chairman of MCHB, Datuk Seri Lee Tian Hock, and the group managing director of MCHB, Ho Kong Soon.

Additionally, this event also aimed to encourage attendees to embrace the Merdeka spirit and celebrate the national holiday. The distribution of the Jalur Gemilang flags was a way to foster patriotism among the community.
