KUALA LUMPUR: The air quality for Petaling Jaya is unhealthy, according to the latest Air Pollutant Index (API) reading on the Environment Department’s website.

As at 5pm, the API level for Petaling Jaya was at 104. The worst reading was at 120 at 10am on Tuesday (Oct 8).

API readings between 0 and 50 are categorised as good, 51 to 100 (moderate), 101 to 200 (unhealthy), 201 to 300 (very unhealthy), while 300 and above are hazardous.
