Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi’s health is improving and he is expected to return to work soon, according to Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim. Anwar conveyed Zahid’s greetings to everyone and mentioned that Zahid is getting better. Anwar advised him to take some time to rest before resuming work and continuing the efforts and programmes of the ministry. This was announced by Anwar when he launched the 2023 Karnival Usahawan Desa @Putrajaya at Anjung Floria.
Anwar mentioned that he had visited Ahmad Zahid earlier in the morning before going to the Karnival Usahawan Desa. On Thursday (Nov 23), Ahmad Zahid, who is also the Rural and Regional Development Minister, revealed on Facebook that he was resting after completing a surgical procedure on Nov 16.
Furthermore, yesterday morning, Ahmad Zahid posted a photo of himself with Anwar, expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister for visiting him. He also mentioned that he could not wait to get back to work.
