PETALING JAYA: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called for kindness to be extended to all, regardless of background, this Christmas.
In a post on Facebook, Anwar sent his best wishes to all Christians in Malaysia and urged everyone to show compassion without considering race, religion, or background.
He stated, “May this celebration serve as a reminder for us to always love, show kindness, and spread goodness despite our differences.”
Anwar emphasized the necessity of unity for the country to continue to grow economically, attract investments, and eradicate extreme poverty.
“May this year’s Christmas celebration continue to bring joy, peace, security, harmony, prosperity, and unity to all the people and the nation,” he added.
