In an announcement made by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, civil servants are set to receive a special financial assistance of RM500 in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
The Prime Minister specified that only civil servants of Grade 56 and below will be eligible for this special financial aid.
Additionally, government retirees and veterans in both pensionable and non-pensionable categories will also receive RM250 each as part of this initiative.
During the Prime Minister’s Department monthly gathering on Monday, Anwar Ibrahim mentioned that the Treasury has been instructed to begin channeling the funds starting Friday, April 5.
This announcement comes as a way to show appreciation for the contributions and hard work of civil servants, retirees, and veterans in Malaysia.
