In an announcement made by Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, civil servants are set to receive a special financial assistance of RM500 in celebration of Hari Raya Aidilfitri.

The Prime Minister specified that only civil servants of Grade 56 and below will be eligible for this special financial aid.

Additionally, government retirees and veterans in both pensionable and non-pensionable categories will also receive RM250 each as part of this initiative.

During the Prime Minister’s Department monthly gathering on Monday, Anwar Ibrahim mentioned that the Treasury has been instructed to begin channeling the funds starting Friday, April 5.

This announcement comes as a way to show appreciation for the contributions and hard work of civil servants, retirees, and veterans in Malaysia.

With Hari Raya Aidilfitri approaching, the government aims to provide financial support to those who have dedicated their time and efforts to serving the country.

By offering this special financial assistance, the government hopes to alleviate some financial burdens and enhance the festive celebrations for those involved.

Anwar Ibrahim emphasized the importance of recognizing the efforts of civil servants, retirees, and veterans, and expressed gratitude for their commitment to public service.

As preparations for Hari Raya Aidilfitri begin, the government’s initiative to provide financial aid to civil servants, retirees, and veterans is welcomed as a gesture of appreciation.

The distribution of RM500 for civil servants of Grade 56 and below, along with RM250 for retirees and veterans, will help ensure a more enjoyable and stress-free festive season for those receiving these funds.
