Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is set to conclude the debate of the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) Mid-Term Review (MTR) in the Dewan Rakyat at 4.30pm Tuesday (Sept 19).
In a Facebook post on Tuesday, Anwar expressed gratitude to all the Members of Parliament (MPs) who participated in the debate since last week and assured them that he would answer the questions raised during the session.
On September 11, the Prime Minister presented the 12MP MTR, which aims to establish “Malaysia Madani: Sustainable, Prosperous and High Income.” This will be achieved through the implementation of 17 major measures, supported by 71 main strategies and initiatives, in order to attain the desired outcomes.
The 12MP MTR represents the government’s commitment to address the demands for reform from the people, thereby embodying the vision of Malaysia Madani.
The three-day debate on the 12MP MTR commenced on September 12, followed by two days of wrap-up sessions led by the relevant ministries, which began on Monday (Sept 18). – Bernama
