GUA MUSANG: Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has called on all ministries and agencies to implement projects immediately. He expressed his concern that projects announced before state elections would not be implemented as promised after the polls.
Anwar emphasized the importance of following through on announced projects and urged agencies to closely monitor their respective projects. In the event of any delays, relevant parties should be informed for further action.
Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi was also present during the Prime Minister’s speech. Anwar noted that the projects mentioned by Ahmad Zahid, such as the road upgrading in several Orang Asli settlements in Kelantan, demonstrate the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of the Orang Asli community.
Ahmad Zahid had announced an allocation of RM200 million for road upgrading projects in Gua Musang, specifically the Kuala Betis-Pos Balar and Pos Belatim-Kuala Betis-Pos Bihai areas. Anwar acknowledged the significance of this amount and urged its expedited implementation. He further requested progress reports from senior officials involved in these projects.
Anwar also emphasized the need for all parties to address the challenges faced by the Orang Asli community. He regarded their problems as shared concerns and invited suggestions for improving the government’s efforts.
