KEPALA BATAS: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim stated that young voters aged between 18 and 25 possess great influence in shaping Malaysia’s politics, which ultimately determines the nation’s future. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of this young demographic making informed decisions in the state elections of six states, as it will have a significant impact on the country’s future and its youth.
“The younger generation should carefully deliberate upon the political landscape of Malaysia, considering aspects such as the direction of the nation, promoting peace and unity among all races, implementing clear economic policies, and attracting investments. The future of our children hinges upon the decisions made regarding the shape of our politics,” Anwar expressed while addressing 1,500 students at the “Meet Anwar – Madani Education Discussion” held at Penang Matriculation College on Saturday (Aug 5).
He urged the youth to display strength in standing against insults pertaining to race and religion to foster a harmonious and unified society, thus ensuring the well-being of the nation.
