KOTA BARU: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim visited the Sungai Kelantan Phase 1 Integrated River Basin Development Project site in Tunjung here, Saturday (Aug 3).
The Prime Minister arrived in Tunjung at 3.50pm, accompanied by Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan and Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Mohd Nassuruddin Daud.
He was welcomed by Irrigation and Drainage Department (DID) director-general Datuk Dr Ahmad Anuar Othman and the department’s senior management.
The Prime Minister was also briefed by Ahmad Anuar on the progress of the river basin development project, expected to be completed by 2025. – Bernama
