Two local men have been arrested by the police on suspicion of hacking the digital menu screen of a fast food outlet in Kuala Langat on Tuesday (Oct 31), according to Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan. The manager of the fast food outlet had lodged a police report stating that their digital menu had been hacked. An investigation paper was opened under Section 504 of the Penal Code and Section 14 of the Minor Offences Act 1955, leading to the arrest of the two 26-year-old men in Petaling Jaya and Kuala Lumpur. The police also seized their phones during the arrests. Both men will be held in custody until Nov 5 while investigations remain ongoing, he stated. This information was reported by Bernama.
