In Kulai, police are on the lookout for a man who performed a dangerous act by clinging onto the back of a moving trailer lorry on a highway near the Senai Industrial Area.

Kulai OCPD Supt Tan Seng Lee stated that the police discovered a video on Facebook at noon on Friday (Feb 16).

“The investigation has revealed that the incident took place on Thursday (Feb 15) at 10am at KM35 Second-Link Expressway heading towards Senai.

“During the incident, the lorry driver was unaware that a man was clinging to the back of the lorry. He only found out about it after his friend showed him the viral video,” he said in a statement on Saturday (Feb 17).

Supt Tan also mentioned that the 36-year-old driver came forward to the Kulai district police to assist with the investigation.

The case is under investigation under Section 47(1) for illegally riding on a moving vehicle and obstructing the driver.

Earlier, a 17-second video was posted on Facebook showing a man wearing a black shirt with a bag holding on to a moving lorry on a highway.
