The police are requesting a RM5.1 billion allocation as part of the Fourth Rolling Plan of the 12th Malaysia Plan (12MP) to implement 81 projects. Among these projects, 21 are focused on district police headquarters and police contingent headquarters across the country, while the remaining 60 projects involve acquiring assets such as boats and vehicles.
The allocation will cover expenses for various areas including communication systems, technology equipment, and housing repairs. The police have already submitted their application for the allocation. Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, made this announcement during his visit to the tactical headquarters at the Karak police station in Bentong during the Pelangai state by-election on Saturday (Oct 7).
