SERDANG: A police sergeant has been arrested for allegedly breaking into the exhibit storage at the Sepang police headquarters on Saturday (July 29).

Selangor police chief Comm Datuk Hussein Omar Khan announced on Tuesday (Aug 1) that the suspect, who is in his 40s, was apprehended on Monday (July 31) and will be remanded.

“The missing items from the storage are exhibits from completed cases that were slated for disposal. We are currently investigating the motive behind the incident,” he told reporters.

According to previous reports, the break-in occurred on Saturday (July 29).

Regarding the “SiHulk” deviant teachings, Comm Hussein stated that 32 reports have been filed in Selangor since last year.

“We are in the process of identifying and pursuing those involved in the deviant teachings. However, we believe that some members may have fled the state to evade authorities,” he added.
