Three Myanmar nationals were found dead on Tuesday (Oct 17) in a cabin at a project site in Jalan Anggerik, Rompin. Authorities suspect that the victims died from poisoning. The Pahang police chief, Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman, stated that the police received information about the men, aged between 21 and 33, at 3.15 pm that day.
According to Yahaya Othman, the initial inspection of the surrounding area and the bodies found no criminal elements. The post-mortem carried out by the Rompin Hospital on Friday (Oct 20) confirmed that the victims died from poisoning. However, the detailed findings are still awaiting the chemist’s report.
