The remand of seven suspects in the murder of a abducted man has been extended by the police. Subang Jaya OCPD Asst Comm Wan Azlan Wan Mamat confirmed this information in a text message to the media on Sept 22. All seven suspects will remain in remand until Sept 27, according to Wan Azlan. The investigation papers will be handed over to the deputy public prosecutor soon for further instructions.
The victim was found dead near a petrol station in Puchong on Sept 6. His family members reported that he was abducted by a group of people in Kampung Muhibbah. On Sept 7, four men were arrested in the Klang Valley area in connection with the case. Three more suspects were arrested between Sept 8 and Sept 10, as announced by the police on Sept 11.
