    Routine police stop leads to discovery of murder

    SEPANG: The police made a shocking discovery of a murder after stopping a lorry in Sepang. Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan reported that while on duty, a police patrol team conducted a stop on Jalan UPM in Sepang during the early hours of September 4. They found an unconscious passenger inside the vehicle. The victim was then taken to Serdang Hospital, where doctors pronounced them dead. A post-mortem examination revealed that the cause of death was blunt trauma to the head. The 41-year-old lorry driver was arrested by the police and is currently remanded for 12 days for further investigation. The victim and suspect were revealed to be friends and lived in the same area. The police have yet to determine the motive behind the crime.
