KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is dedicated to promoting and strengthening integrity within the state civil service, according to Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor.
During the launch of the Integrity, Governance and Anti-Corruption Convention (Kita 2023) at the Sabah International Convention Centre (SICC) on Monday (Oct 16), the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of this initiative.
Hajiji explained that various strategies have been devised to support these efforts, beginning with the commitment of upper management.
“Integrity, transparency, and accountability are qualities that the state leadership prioritizes,” he remarked.
“Within Sabah, the state government has outlined Sabah Maju Jaya as a platform encompassing inclusivity and unity to ensure the success of the development agenda,” Hajiji added.
He also mentioned that anti-graft education is being expanded in Sabah to cater to all age groups as a means to promote positive values within the community.
During the launch of Kita 2023, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission Chief Commissioner Tan Sri Azam Baki and State Secretary Datuk Seri Safar Untong were also present.
