    Salahuddin’s Remains to be Buried at Jalan Sulong Cemetery at Noon

    The remains of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living Minister Datuk Seri Salahuddin Ayub are expected to be buried at the Jalan Sulong Muslim Cemetery, Serkat, Pontian, Johor, at noon Monday (July 24).

    According to the funeral planning schedule shared by the minister’s press secretary, Syakirin Husnal, Salahuddin’s remains would be at his mother’s home at Kampung Serkat (Kopi Tenggek), Tanjung Piai, at 7am Monday for those wishing to pay their last respects.

    The body will then be brought to his residence at TL7, Jalan Adil, Serkat, Pontian, Johor, at 10am.

    The funeral prayer will be held at 11am at Masjid Jamek Dato’ Hj Noh Gadot, Serkat, Pontian.

    “The family of the deceased expressed their appreciation and gratitude to all parties for the prayers,” he said.

    Salahuddin, 61, who was Pulai MP and Simpang Jeram assemblyman died at 9.23 pm today at Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital (HSB) Alor Setar, Kedah.

    Salahuddin, who was also Amanah deputy president, was rushed to the HSB at 10.15pm last Friday (July 21) after experiencing nausea and vomiting and was diagnosed with brain haemorrhage. – Bernama
