A search and rescue (SAR) operation is underway for a 30-year-old man who has gone missing in Kampungan Bambangan Tudon, Penampang. The man, identified as Kevin Lokuman, was last seen on Tuesday (Aug 22). Despite two days of searching, authorities have not been able to locate him.
The Fire and Rescue Department received a report from the police on Thursday (Aug 24) at 11.40am. Kevin’s family members had informed the police that he had not returned home. It was revealed in the report that Kevin left the house at 5am on Tuesday without informing his family.
Upon receiving the report, the team from Penampang fire station immediately went to the scene to gather more information and conduct search and rescue operations in the surrounding area. The department spokesperson also mentioned that the MUST (multi-skill team) unit and the K9-unit are providing assistance in the search.
