The Sarawak Government has announced that it will be offering free education to 25,000 students in all state-owned universities and higher learning institutions, starting from 2026. Premier Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg made the announcement at the 8th convocation of the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS) on Sunday (Dec 17), emphasizing the government’s commitment to human capital development.
