PETALING JAYA: Concerned citizens have stepped up with offers of cash rewards for those with information leading to the safe return of six-year-old Albertine Leo Jia Hui, who went missing at the Bon Odori event in Johor Baru on Saturday (July 20) night.

A local influencer and a Johor-based eatery owner have each offered a reward of RM10,000, while a consultancy firm in Johor has put out a reward offer of RM50,000 for information leading to the missing girl.

Leo, who is the third of four siblings, had gone missing during a Bon Odori event at Eco Galleria in Iskandar Puteri attended by hundreds of people.

Her mother who hails from Kluang was running a business booth at the event when her daughter went missing.

Police described the girl as being about 120cm tall with long hair and was last seen wearing a white Mickey Mouse T-shirt.

It is learnt that there were also concerns if the girl had been taken across the border as there were claims by unknown parties that the child was spotted in the vicinity of the Causeway.
