The state of Selangor aims to have at least 60,000 units of Rumah Selangorku by 2025, according to Borhan Aman Shah, the chairman of the state housing and culture committee.
So far, a total of 109 projects with 35,606 units have been completed and occupied, with the Selangor Housing and Property Board (LPHS) having offered 48,407 members of the public the chance to own the affordable homes.
Speaking about LPHS, Borhan highlighted that the organization not only formulates policies and monitors projects, but also acts as a special housing developer for affordable housing.
LPHS aims to build 6,347 units of Rumah Selangorku by 2026, with strategic locations planned for Glenmarie, Alam Impian, Pekan Bangi Lama, Pulau Meranti, Kota Warisan, and Salak Tinggi.
