Heavy rainfall in Selangor has resulted in overflowing drains and flash flooding in Bukit Permai, Ampang. A video posted on Twitter by user boilerrome@syafiqmisroom shows water pouring out from the drainage and onto the roads. The user claims that this type of flooding has never occurred in the area before.
In the Twitter post, boilerrome@syafiqmisroom mentions that the flash flood coincided with the cutting of a tree on the hillside of the KL Highland. The user expresses frustration with the relevant authorities and tags @mp_ampangjaya and @1Ampang in the tweet. The video can be viewed in the tweet embedded below:
